Free drop off for flood waste

Council is offering a free waste drop-off service exclusively for residents of the Lismore Local Government Area to assist with the clean-up following the impacts of Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Residents can dispose of general waste from flood-affected properties as well as green waste resulting from storm damage at no cost. This service is expected to remain available until Sunday, 23 March 2025.

Restoration is underway.

Demolition of the old weatherboard building was completed in May 2024. Maintenance to the brick building is underway.

The new modular accessible toilet/changeroom and shed structure has been ordered. Awaiting updates from manufacturer on delivery date for installation.
