Free drop off for flood waste

Council is offering a free waste drop-off service exclusively for residents of the Lismore Local Government Area to assist with the clean-up following the impacts of Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Residents can dispose of general waste from flood-affected properties as well as green waste resulting from storm damage at no cost. This service is expected to remain available until Sunday, 23 March 2025.

Visitor Information Centre – Complete

Project Status: Complete
Completion Date: February 2025

Carpet and vinyl coverings were installed in April 2024. Final painting and service fit offs were also completed.

Toilet facilities are once again open to the public, with an accessible toilet completed in February 2025.
