East Town Drains – In Progress

Lismore City Council will be removing invasive coral trees and debris restricting the flow of the open drain. The objective is to refurbish the drain, restoring optimal flow to the section of stormwater drainage connecting Lismore open drains to Gundarimba Canal.

This will improve flood response and speed up drainage of excess stormwater, while also providing greater access for Lismore City Council to maintain and keep the drain clear.

These works are funded under the Northern Rivers Recovery and Resilience Program.
