Gasworks Creek Pump Station – In Progress

An integral part of Lismore City Council’s flood resilience network, Gasworks Creek Pump Station in East Lismore will soon receive several upgrades.

Works include raising the station electricals above 14.4m, installation of mechanical trash racks, and connection to a new fibre optic network for remote monitoring, operation and surveillance.

Trash racks protect the pump inlet from water-borne debris such as logs and rubbish, ensuring the continued smooth operation of the pumping station during flood events.
