Free drop off for flood waste

Council is offering a free waste drop-off service exclusively for residents of the Lismore Local Government Area to assist with the clean-up following the impacts of Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Residents can dispose of general waste from flood-affected properties as well as green waste resulting from storm damage at no cost. This service is expected to remain available until Sunday, 23 March 2025.

Leeson Road

Project Timeline

Project Status: Construction Underway
Completion Date: April 2025 (subject to weather conditions)

Following the February 2022 natural disaster (AGRN1012), Leeson Road suffered extensive damage. Works will include reconstruction of areas of embankment adjacent to the road, minor roadworks and the removal and replacement of stormwater infrastructure to return the road to its pre-existing condition.
