Have your Say- The updated Contributions Plan
Lismore City Council is updating the Contributions Plan and would love to hear from you!
The Contributions Plan outlines the requirements for the payment of monetary contributions from new developments that increase the demand for public amenities and services. The current Plan has been in effect since 2015 and many of the projects in the works schedule have been completed.
The draft Plan sets out proposed contribution rates and identifies a range of infrastructure projects in the following categories:
- Community Facilities
- Public Domain Facilities
- Open Space and Recreation
- Walking and Cycling
- Traffic Management
- Stormwater Management
As a result of the new works program and the methodology used to develop the plan, the contribution rates for urban residential and retail have increased, whilst the rates for rural residential, commercial (Business and Office Premises) and industrial have been reduced.
