Safer Cities Her Way: stories of journey, culture and community

The two project sites of Lismore City Council’s Safer Cities Her Way Program will soon be transformed into must-see destinations in the heart of Lismore. This NSW Government funded project will not only deliver what our community asked for in improved accessibility, increased safety for all and greatly improved amenity, but so much more.

By choosing themes of Big Scrub for the Unnamed Laneway and Bundjalung Nation Welcome for Harold Fredericks Carpark, designs and installations will tell stories of our unique region, and deliver strengthened place identity, character and community value to Lismore. These upgrades will compliment and add value to The Quad and Lismore Gallery spaces and importantly add to the overall destination value of Lismore.

Installations are scheduled to commence throughout July, so keep an eye on Council’s social media pages for updates and temporary closures of the Laneway and sections of Harold Fredericks Carpark.
