The Albert Park complex is home to the sports of baseball and softball in the Northern Rivers. The complex is unique in regional Australia in that it comprises four full-sized enclosed fields, two of which are under lights. International baseball diamond. Two softball diamonds. Toilets, clubhouse and lights owned by Far North Coast Baseball. It has grandstand seating, clubhouse, sports lighting and batting cages. There are picnic areas and a children's playground.

The facility and surrounds suffered extensive damage during the 2022 natural disaster (AGRN1012). All restoration works are complete, including the clubhouse and surrounding fields and the site is back in use for the community. These works have generated interest from local, State, Australian and international baseball associations.

The redesign and renewal of Albert Park put a spotlight on the facility as one of Australia’s premiere baseball complexes. The master plan upgraded and renovated the existing facilities, as well as incorporated new ideas such as a central community hub, playground and marquee/tent area to bring new life into the facility.
