Works are commencing on Stanger Road in February 2025 the restoration works involve a road realignment, subsoil drainage, and guardrail installation at the location identified on the below map.

Scope of Works
Approximately 90m of road to be realigned away from landslide crest and excavation of pavement depth to form new pavement, minor cutting required to facilitate realignment. Installation of subsoil drainage and new guard rail on the low side for risk reduction. Stanger Road will remain open throughout construction under single lane contraflow with traffic controllers on site.

Traffic Impact / Access

  • The road will remain open under single lane contraflow with traffic controllers on site to have minimal impact on residents, there will be no impact to Emergency services vehicles.
  • Motorists will be notified of road changes via roadside signage and updated through www.livetraffic.com
  • Please adhere to all road signs and directions from any traffic controllers and ensure extra care is taken around workers on foot.
