Terania Creek Road suffered extensive damage during the 2022 natural disasters (ARGN1012). Funding was approve do improve three bridges on the road commencing in early 2024. To reduce the impact on residents, temporary side tracks next to the bridge were constructed so traffic could be detoured.

After these were established crews mobilised to commence installation of the new concrete bridge approaches. The project also included removing debris from each site and the installation of new guardrails, structure restraining brackets and erosion protection.
