Following the February 2022 natural disaster, Upper Tuntable Falls Road suffered extensive damage. Funding was secured in early 2024 for landslip remediation works on two sites identified on the map below as DM01183 and DM01184.

The works involved the restoration of two landslip sites near the Tuntable Falls Primary School as well as debris clearing, minor grading and drainage works. Works commenced first at landslip DM01184 located near the Tuntable Falls Co-Op and then progressed to landslip DM01183, located approximately 500m North of DM01184. During construction, the road remained open with works completed under single lane traffic control to reduce the impact on residents.
