Earlier on this year, the Red Cross and Lismore City Council’s Community Recovery Officer doorknocked the flood impacted community of Bexhill. At that time, it was discussed that a community event or BBQ, would be a great opportunity for the Bexhill community to have another opportunity to come together. Due to repairs at the Bexhill Hall and the oval, this event will now take place on Saturday 28 September.
The Bexhill community are invited to a free lunchtime Community Get Together at the Bexhill Hall, where there will be children’s activities from Fitness Kidz, music by Mandy Hawke and Christina Webster. With lunch, tea and coffee provided.
There will be information and some short presentations from the Red Cross, the Recovery Me program, the Community Recovery Officer, and the SES.
For all enquiries, please contact the Community Recovery Officers at recovery@lismore.nsw.gov.au
