Closure of Lismore BlazeAid Camp

After over seven months of support for our Local Farmers, BlazeAid have closed their Lismore camp. During their time in Lismore and despite having to down tools during many days of bad weather, BlazeAid completed 26km of fencing and 14km of clearing on 50 farms.

They have hosted, housed and fed some 59 volunteers and supervised over 1000 volunteer hours. Lismore City Council would like to say a heartfelt “thank you” to BlazeAid, their wonderful volunteers and to Greyhound Racing NSW for very generously supporting and hosting the camp at their Lismore site.
