In consideration of the recent severe weather event and the need to focus on the community's recovery, Council has decided to postpone its scheduled March Ordinary Meeting to be at a date to be confirmed. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Normal kerbside waste collections and business waste services will resume on 10 March, with the Lismore Recycling and Recovery Centre reopening the same day, while free storm-related waste drop-offs continue until 23 March.
Some Council facilities will remain closed tomorrow for damage assessment following Tropical Cyclone Alfred, with reopening efforts underway.Click on the link below to see the list.

To minimise environmental impact, the Environment Protection Authority requires holders of Environment Protection Licenses to publicly report pollution monitoring data.
This includes data from Council's landfill and recycling centres, quarry sites, and sewerage treatment plants, which are all holders of these licenses. These sites are tested for pollutants as required by the EPA under specific guidelines for each licence.
Licence holders are also required to have pollution incident response management plans available to the public.
To learn more, contact Council on (02) 6625 0500.
The licences for each facility are below:
