A monthly gathering space open to Aboriginal artists and community members to learn, share, create and collaborate. Kylie Caldwelll, Bundjalung weaver and fibre artist, will be available to assist on the day. Free, all materials provided, no registrations required.
Kylie is an experimental Bundjalung interdisciplinary artist based in Northern Rivers, NSW. Her diverse creative practice proactively seeks to delve deeper into contemporary and traditional Aboriginal values. She explores various mediums and themes, focusing on reviving and sharing cultural practices and understanding. Through her past work as an Indigenous Arts Officer, Kylie had the opportunity to work on a number of meaningful projects, including producing a weaving publication, coordinating Aboriginal art markets, co-producing a film and facilitating various weaving and creative workshops.
