Bringing together elements of nature writing and memoir this workshop will help participants reflect on their relationship with the river – whether a specific location or on a catchment scale. Bringing the personal view to the bigger picture offers connection with a range of emotions: joy, wonder and hope; grief and rage.
There is an intention that river stories will be published as a future anthology.
Places are limited and registration is required.
Requirements: Bring whatever you are comfortable writing with. Come with a particular idea in mind, or an empty slate and see what evolves.
Afternoon tea will be provided.
About the facilitator: Graeme has been writing on and off about the Richmond River for several years, and been presenting creative nonfiction writing workshops for 12 years.
