Lismore Memorial Gardens & Crematorium

Plaques at the Lismore Memorial Gardens.

The Lismore Memorial Gardens, owned and operated by the Lismore City Council, have been serving the Lismore district and surrounding communities since 1966.

The lawn cemetery, which is open to the public every day from 5am to 9pm, boasts well-tended, tranquil lawns and gardens, as well as a beautiful floral display.

The cemetery offers a range of services for burials, cremations, and memorialisation, and a friendly, caring staff is available to assist with the selection of memorials or provide information on the location of a particular grave or memorial.

Lismore City Council has created a register of all those who have been buried or cremated at the Lismore Memorial Gardens. You can search through the register by entering a name or part therefore. The register can be accessed here, and if you can't find what you're looking for, you can contact us on (02) 6625 0500.

The Lismore Memorial Gardens office is open from 9am to 3pm Monday to Thursday, and the crematorium, which is also operated by the Lismore City Council, offers cremation services for residents.
