Council meetings occur monthly on the second Tuesday at 10am in the Council Chambers, Oliver Avenue, Goonellabah and are open to the public, except for confidential matters.

Meetings are conducted in accordance with a Code of Meeting Practice.

AUSLAN interpretation can be requested by calling (02) 6625 0500 through the National Relay Service and requesting to speak with the Mayor and Councillors Executive Assistant.

Councillor Briefing sessions are also open to the public.

Briefings are where Councillors receive information about a particular issue, with subject matter experts on hand to answer any questions, so the Councillors get the detailed information they need to make informed decisions that benefit our community.

Councillor Briefing sessions take place on most Tuesday evenings at 6pm at the Council Chambers, 43 Oliver Ave Goonellabah.
