As part of Lismore City Council’s commitment to supporting and partnering with local business, we are pleased to invite local businesses to Council’s second Business Insights Forum to be held at Invercauld House on Wednesday, 1 November. This Forum is for all businesses across Lismore that want to gain key insights and discuss economic issues, trends and opportunities for businesses and the region. Lismore City Council recently commissioned Astrolabe Group to develop an “Economic Review and Analysis Background Paper”. Astrolabe is a recognised expert in urban growth and change management, with a uniquely empathetic approach to clients and community. The company works with local councils, state and federal government, universities, industry, not-for-profits and peak associations to build clarity and consensus across diverse stakeholders. Astrolabe’s Group Director, Michael Comninos, will summarise the deep insights identified in its Paper and pose key business, community and government considerations to drive economic growth for the region. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion exploring the issues covered by the Paper and how businesses, Council and key organisations can collaborate to drive growth.
