The Jolly Man in Red has arrived in Lismore’s Santa Wonderland, giving locals the chance to snap their cherished festive season photo. Festive cheer meets enchanting moments as Santa's Wonderland opens its doors tomorrow at the Lismore Regional Gallery at 11 Rural Street for an unforgettable family, friends, or work colleagues photo experience. It is Santa’s only Wonderland in the Northern Rivers. The fun starts Wednesday, 3 December until Sunday, 22 December and will be open from Wednesday through to Sunday between 10am and 2pm, and after school on Thursdays from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Bookings for photos with Santa are essential, but it’s as simple as going to www.xmasinlismore.com, including pricing details. Low sensory sessions are available. Lismore City Mayor Steve Krieg said he always looked forward to welcoming Santa to Lismore’s Wonderland and encouraged the community to come into the CBD to enjoy the wide range of Christmas activities Council has planned in the lead up to Christmas. “I encourage everyone to visit Santa’s Wonderland, get some photos and while you are down there, do some Christmas shopping and support our local businesses,” he said. “We have lots of fun family friendly events planned to celebrate Christmas, including Carols in the Heart at Oakes Oval on Sunday, 8 December from 3pm and our annual CBD Elf Hunt throughout December, as well as a chance to win a $500 Loving Lismore Gift card with draws every week until Christmas.” To find out more about what’s happening in Lismore this Christmas, register to promote your festive season event and be in the running to win a $500 shop local gift card, go to www.xmasinlismore.com
