The Return & Earn at the Lismore Recycling & Recovery Centre will be temporarily closed this morning for essential repairs to the conveyor belt that moves materials to the skip bin. We expect to reopen by 12pm today.

Free drop off for flood waste

Council is offering a free waste drop-off service exclusively for residents of the Lismore Local Government Area to assist with the clean-up following the impacts of Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Residents can dispose of general waste from flood-affected properties as well as green waste resulting from storm damage at no cost. This service is expected to remain available until Sunday, 23 March 2025.
