How to pay

You can pay your rates and water accounts using any of the following methods.

Online

Via our convenient SecurePay payment system

Pay with SecurePay

Via BPAY. Go to your online banking website or app. Find where to make a payment via BPAY. Enter the biller code and your customer account number shown on the front of your rates and/or water notice.

Via Post Billpay. You can make online payments using your Mastercard or Visa at any time. 

Via Centrepay. Visit Services Australia for more. 

In person

Via cheque, EFTPOS, Mastercard or Visa at any of the following locations:

Any Australia Post branch for amounts between $20 and $10,000.

Any branch of the Commonwealth Bank – deposit slip required.

Lismore City Council's Corporate Centre, 43 Oliver Avenue, Goonellabah. Cashier open 8:30am to 4pm weekdays.

Direct debit

Direct debit is an easy and quick way to make payments via automated direct debit payments made from a nominated account.

To arrange direct debit payments, complete our online Direct Debit Application Form.

Other

Via mail. Detach the slip at the bottom of your rates notice and forward it with your cheque or money order made out to Lismore City Council to PO Box 23A, Lismore NSW 2480.

Via phone. Using Post Billpay telephone banking by calling 131 816. See account notice for details. You can pay by credit card over the phone. A credit card payment processing fee applies.

Via eNotices. You can make payments using Mastercard, Visa or direct debit.
