Environment Education Centre

The Lismore City Environment Education Centre (EEC) is set within the grounds of the Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens at the Lismore Recycling & Recovery Centre.

The EEC is used primarily by Council for training, meetings and workshops, as well as education activities when schools and community groups visit the site.

However, the EEC is also available for external hire as set out in Council’s fees and charges. The EEC has seating capacity for 30 people, with stackable chairs and flip-top trestle tables, a white board and video conferencing screen. There is a kitchenette with hot water, full size fridge, microwave, drinking water station, mugs and glassware. Tea, coffee and long-life milk are also provided. There are two toilets available for use outside the main room, one is an accessible toilet. There is dedicated parking, with an accessible parking space and a ramp up to the building.
