Free drop off for flood waste

Council is offering a free waste drop-off service exclusively for residents of the Lismore Local Government Area to assist with the clean-up following the impacts of Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Residents can dispose of general waste from flood-affected properties as well as green waste resulting from storm damage at no cost. This service is expected to remain available until Sunday, 23 March 2025.

Lismore Revolve Shop

The Lismore Revolve Shop will be closed this week and reopen Wednesday 19 March (9am to 2pm). This extended closure is due to staff being redirected to inspecting green waste loads.

The Lismore Revolve Shop sells quality used items that have been salvaged before going to landfill. Goods going to the Revolve Shop are assessed for their suitability for sale.

There is a Save ‘n’ Waste section where you can buy eco-friendly products, such as kitchen caddies and compostable bin liners, as well as household asbestos disposal kits.
