Nimbin Transfer Station

Located on Blade Road, Nimbin Transfer Station provides residents from the village and surrounding hills with a facility for recycling and waste drop-off.

Operating hours:

  • Monday CLOSED
  • Tuesday 8am to 3pm
  • Wednesday CLOSED
  • Thursday 8am to 3pm
  • Friday CLOSED
  • Saturday 8am to 3pm
  • Sunday CLOSED

All Northern Rivers Waste sites are closed on public holidays.

The following items can be taken free of charge to be recycled:

  • Household batteries
  • Mobile phones, tablets and accessories
  • Printer cartridges
  • X-rays
  • Polystyrene 

There is also a small Revolve Shop where good-quality items diverted from landfill can be bought for a small fee and given another life.
